From steaming volcanoes to tropical flowers, there really is no place like Hawaii.
Steeped in culture and history, you’ll be surrounded by fresh floral air and temperate waters. There are many exciting places and attractions we visit on our tour to Oahu and the Big Island.
We’ll venture to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, tour around the whole of Oahu including a city tour of Honolulu, take a relaxing morning catamaran cruise to Kealakekua Bay (Captain Cook Bay), spend a day at Pearl Harbor and much more.
Please note this tour will run again in September 2018.
Itinerary
Day 1
We travel to Auckland in the evening for our overnight flight to Hawaii.
Day 2
We cross the International Date Line and arrive on Sunday 13th May in Honolulu to a Traditional Hawaiian Welcome. The rest of the day is free. Enjoy the sunshine and relax by the pool, visit the spa or for those a bit more adventurous, why not venture out into downtown Honolulu and explore your surroundings.
Day 3
Today, we see the best of Honolulu and Oahu on the Ultimate Circle Island Eco-Adventure and experience the island’s diverse natural landscape, stunning views, hidden waterfalls and the best weather in the world. We are sure you will love the natural beauty of Oahu.
Day 4
A full day tour today featuring all of the historic museums and memorials of Pearl Harbor which includes visits to the USS Arizona Memorial, USS Missouri plus much more.
Day 5
Today, we take a short hop to the Big Island and settle into our hotel in Kona for the next 5 nights.
Day 6
This morning, we have some free time before we go on a tiki tour of the Big Island which includes taking in some wonderful scenic views plus a visit to a coffee farm.
Day 7
A full day tour today on the Big Island Volcano Eco-Adventure. We visit the world’s most active volcano, Mount Kilauea, Rainbow Falls and Banyan Drive with much more to see during the day. This will be an amazing day for everyone.
Day 8
Today is a free day.
Day 9
A wonderful start to the day as we enjoy a morning cruise on a catamaran to Kealakekua Bay. Breakfast is included and we have lunch while in the bay. Kealakekua Bay is the site of the Captain Cook Monument which can be seen. You can swim in the bay or just sit and relax on the boat. We sail back after lunch and the rest of the afternoon is free.
Day 10
This morning, we fly back to the island of Oahu. After our arrival, we head back to our hotel on the famous Waikiki Beach. Tonight, we enjoy dinner and music at a Hawaiian Luau.
Day 11
It’s time to say Aloha as we take to the skies on our flight back home. It’s back over the International Date Line and we arrive in Auckland on Wednesday 23rd May.
