We travel to Auckland for our flight to the island paradise of Rarotonga and head across the International Date Line for our arrival on Monday 23rd July.

Late afternoon, we go to the Te Vara Nui Village for a Cultural Village Tour and Show. We learn about the history of the Polynesian culture and traditions.

We go on Captain Tami’s Lagoon Cruise which gives us a chance to view the coral and fish life as well as having a delicious barbecue lunch on Koromiri Island. The rest of the afternoon is at leisure.
Day 4
Today, we have a free morning before we fly to Aitutaki for 4 nights. Once we’re in our hotel, we can enjoy the view of the Lagoon as well as the stunning Sunset Views from the Beachfront Restaurant and Bar.
Day 5
We spend a full day cruising Aitutaki’s vast turquoise lagoon including visiting 3 other islands and enjoying a BBQ lunch of fresh caught ocean fish.

We visit the Punarei Cultural Village and discover the hidden culture of Aitutaki plus the sacred site of the Marae Arangi-rea which has recently been excavated. The afternoon is free.
Day 7
This morning we cruise the Maina Lagoon. This is a great opportunity to experience the other side of the lagoon and visit Maina and Honeymoon Island. We return to Rarotonga for our last night.
Day 8
Enjoy our last free morning before it’s time to say goodbye as we take to the skies on our afternoon flight home. It’s back over the International Date Line and we arrive in Auckland on Tuesday 31st July.
