Do you provide home pick ups and drop offs?

We offer free home pick ups and drop offs from selected areas in Auckland, Hamilton, Rotorua and Tauranga as well as in the Western Bay of Plenty and the Waikato Region.

If you are outside these areas, we can assist with travelling to and from Auckland or any other meeting places.

Just let us know where you live and we can advise the best transportation to suit your needs.

Why should I choose Scottsdale Tours?

Scottsdale Tours package prices are based on double or twin share accommodation and single rooms are available at an extra cost. Our tours are genuinely inclusive of all your expenses including your top quality dinner, bed & breakfast accommodation, all travel costs, all admissions and departure taxes.

Our overseas tours depart from Auckland and we can meet you at the airport if that suits you better. Some of our more southerly clients fly direct from Christchurch or Wellington directly to overseas destinations and we meet them at the airport there. If you wish to spend some extra time overseas before or after your tour we’ll be happy to arrange it for you.

A number of our passengers have travelled with us regularly and are a very friendly group, so do not worry if you are on your own as we can pair you up with someone like minded. You can of course have a room to yourself if you prefer.

What are your business hours?

We’re in the office from 8.00am-4.30pm from Monday to Friday. Outside these hours, please leave a voicemail message or send us an e-mail and we’ll contact you as soon as we can.

How can I pay for my booking?

Payments for tours can be made by Cheque, Credit Card, or Direct Credit. All prices include GST.

Do you recommend travel insurance?

Yes. Our travellers are responsible for their own travel insurance and we recommend purchasing it when paying your deposit.

How long do we spend on the coach?

We don’t usually travel longer than a couple of hours without a stop. One thing of which you can be certain is that a journey by coach is pleasant and comfortable. We also use many other forms of transportation to give you an enjoyable and diverse holiday. From trains, boats and planes, river cruises and occasionally some walking – you’ll be sure to take pleasure in them all.

When do I receive my travel documents?

The travel documents are mailed to you two to three weeks before the departure date along with other information about your tour.

Do you have a frequent traveller programme?

Yes, after 10 tours you will become a Silver Traveller and after 20 tours you will become a Gold Traveller. You will be entitled to a discount after you have reached Silver status and another one on attaining Gold status.

Can I just do part of the trip?

Although you won’t be refunded for any unused portion of a tour, you can leave a day or so earlier if you prefer. Please let us know when you book what you want to do and we’ll help you with this.

Can I stay longer at one location?

If you wish to spend some extra time away in New Zealand or while overseas before or after your tour, we’ll be happy to arrange it for you.
